Application Modules
The Enneagram applied type-by-type to the topics your team is actually dealing with.
THE SESSION
What to Expect
Most teams, once they’ve done an Introduction Workshop, start to see the Enneagram everywhere — in how a colleague gives feedback, how conflict unfolds in meetings, why certain decisions keep stalling. That recognition is valuable, but recognition alone doesn’t change behavior. That’s what these modules are for.
Each module takes a single workplace topic and works through it type by type. For every type represented on your team, we look at how they tend to show up in that area, where their growth areas are, and what that means for how your team works together. Some modules also go deeper into how to work effectively with each type on that topic — giving feedback to an Eight looks different from giving feedback to a Nine. The result is a practical picture of how your team actually operates in that area, and what to do differently.
Modules are designed as standalone half-day or full-day sessions, depending on how much time you want for exercises and discussion. The teams that get the most out of this work schedule them on a regular cadence — though a single session when a specific challenge is front of mind is a natural place to start.
Available Modules
Choose Your Focus
Each module applies the Enneagram type-by-type to a specific workplace topic, and they can be completed in any order.
Communication
How each type tends to communicate — their natural style, where they create connection, and where they create friction — and practical strategies for adapting how you listen, share information, and give direction across types.
Feedback
How each type tends to give and receive feedback, where it goes wrong for each, and how to deliver feedback in a way that actually lands — because direct delivery works for some types and shuts others down entirely.
Delegation
How each type approaches delegation — from over-controlling to under-supporting — what more effective delegation looks like for each, and what different types need when work is delegated to them.
Conflict
How each type approaches conflict, what it looks like when they’re triggered, and how to navigate conflict more effectively across types — including a practical tool for structuring difficult conversations: the Issues Clearing Model.
Leadership Styles
Each type’s natural leadership style, typical blind spots, and growth areas. For mixed groups, we also look at what each type needs from the leaders around them.
Decision-Making
How each type approaches decisions, where they get stuck, and how to grow in that area — plus how teams can make better decisions together when types approach the process differently.
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Where This Fits
Application modules build on the Introduction Workshop — and can be done in any order from there.
Introduction Workshop
The team learns the Enneagram system, understands each other’s types, and builds a shared language for how they work.

The team applies the Enneagram to their actual dynamics — type composition, communication patterns, friction points, and shared commitments.

You are hereCommon Questions
The Introduction Workshop. The modules assume participants have a grounding in the system and a working hypothesis of their type — without that shared foundation, the type-by-type content doesn’t have the context to land. After the introduction, all other workshops can be done in any order, and application modules often help participants clarify their type in the process.
Each module is designed as either a half-day or full-day session, depending on how much time you want for exercises and discussion. Half-day works well for initial exposure to a topic; full-day allows for deeper application to your team’s specific context.
In-person is ideal, as it allows for richer discussion and more organic breakout conversations, but the structure of these modules translates well to virtual sessions. If your team is distributed, don’t let format be the reason you skip the work.
These modules work for any group size, from small teams to larger groups of 50+. The facilitation approach shifts with size — smaller groups allow for more discussion and individual application; larger groups use structured exercises and breakouts.
No. Each module covers a substantial amount of content, and trying to squeeze more than one into a single day doesn’t give people time to process and integrate what they’ve learned before adding another layer.
There’s no fixed sequence — the right order depends on what your team needs most right now. If there’s active conflict, start there. If the team is growing and onboarding new people, Communication or Delegation might be the better entry point. I’ll help you figure out the right sequence based on what you’re working through.
Yes. The six modules listed cover the most common organizational challenges, but if your team is working through something specific, I can build around it. Get in touch and we’ll figure out if a custom module makes sense.
For each type represented on your team, we explore two angles: what it’s like to be that type navigating this topic (your tendencies, blind spots, and growth areas), and what it’s like to work with that type on it (what they need from others, how to approach them effectively, what brings out their best). The result is a practical picture of how every person in the room actually operates in that area.
The Team Dynamics Workshop is about your team’s specific composition — who’s in the room, how those particular types interact, and what that means for how you work together. Application modules are topic-focused — they apply the Enneagram to a specific workplace topic type by type. Team Dynamics is about the team as a whole; modules are about a specific area of work.
